HOW TO Download Plants
to Flower Genie - 28th Dec 2005
Step 1. HOW TO SAVE THE PHOTO
Click the link below and view this Photo
Right click on the Photo
Click Properties
Click “Save Picture as”
Save the photo in a folder on your hard disc.
Make a note of the name of the folder.
(You will need the folder name when you run FG041 -see below)
Its easier if you don’t change the file name
When you have the photo saved, use the BACK button to return to this page.
Now click this link and do Step 1

A web page with “formatted” data appears
(Use the BACK button to return to this page)
Copy ALL of the data which appears in your browser
(Use Ctrl-A then Ctrl-C, or use Edit-Select All, Copy)
Now click this link and do Step 2

Step 3. HOW TO GET THE PLANT INTO YOUR OWN FLOWER GENIE DATABASE
Start Flower Genie
On the Menu, click the tab “Get Plants”
Start the program “Get Plants from E-mail - FG041”
In screen FG041S01
Paste the data you copied in step (2) above into the Text region.
(Use Ctrl-V, or use Edit-Paste)
Click on the Help button in screen FG041S01 and read
how to finish the process.
