Taken today in a break from watering the garden.

Lovely plants that increase every year, some more than others.

Unnamed, but probably dens canis unless you know different 
We also have Pagoda, but it was difficult to get a good photo today due to its position.

White beauty is just that! The markings are really quite exquisite.

Yes George flat out on me belly on the front path to the house.

That is why I couldn't get to lay down next to Pagoda, it's further into the bed, the other plants around would have been steam rollered.

I do also have a Panasonic G1 camera as well, which has a lcd viewing screen which articulates in all directions. But I prefer not to use autofocus on my cameras, much prefer to have manual control, especially at small depth of field which close ups are. and also use the viewfinder instead of the lcd display to see whats in the picture. One of the old brigade me

There are about 20 species of Erythroniums all but E. dens-canis coming from USA. Some are really hard to grow too.

Hi Eric

So we must have 2 of the easier ones, E. Pagoda and E. White Beauty, we have had them for 6 or 7 years, and they get no special treatment.
If the other one is E. dens-canis then it is much slower in growth, similar time in the garden, but only 3 flowers on it.
Have you any idea if it is E. dens-canis ?
Very nice plants, if we had more room   would grow more.

The Purple one looks like dens canis to me. I have a white version of it, or very pale pink. We have a good yellow set and a very pale yellow and white ones. No names  'cos the labels get eaten

Was looking at some of the other species and forms today, prices started at £8 per bulb and went up..............
