What a shock! We very much value your contributions to the forum - your plant knowledge, practical experience and expertise.
I hope you will have internet access again, Eric.

Sorry to hear that Eric.

You obviously have your reasons, which we respect, so I can only echo George's comments.

We hope you can read these comments before you leave us.

Laurie.

That is very sad, Eric. We shall miss you. I hope you see this before you are out in limbo. Even at my age I can't imagine living without my internet connection  :)

We now have limited Internet, via Friends and Family so only after 7 and at Weekends and only for 59 minutes at a time otherwise we pay through the nose. Fibre optics are coming to the Village in the' near future' (hollow laughter, next month or 18 months, who knows and no one is saying. )Then we should be able to get Broadband.
Till then I can read and post text, but nothing much else.
Happy summer everyone.

Thats very good news Eric. We had noticed that you were still logging in. I assumed you were visiting your family and managed to get on line for a few minutes from time to time.

It will be brilliant for you and for us when you get broadband. Hopefully it will be the former :D

Meawhile, I'm delighted you are still with us and can manage to post messages!
