Well, you've passed some very useful info to me.
I was calling it a Datura. I didnt know the species, of course.
But, doing a surf with the name you've given, I quickly established that you are absolutely correct, and that Datura is like me - a bit out of date!
In case anyone else is lagging behind the botanists (those clever people who keep correcting plant names from something we are familiar with to something obscure) theres good info on this site:
