Low planting Laurie. I have far too much high planting areas already, and that new border is a breath of fresh air to give smaller plants a good aspect and better growing conditions. Already I'm delighted by the difference and enjoying the vista. Its pretty much planted up already. Some of the perennial plants are quite small in their first year and beginning to flower. Ive also planted some annuals and bedding plants- Osteospermum, Cosmos, Asters, Stock, Ladybird Poppies, Rudbeckia (really impressed with this variety of annuals as seen in the close ups above) and I plan to do that each year as fillers.
