AND I had lovely time at Malvern show but6 bought two Hydrangeas in flower that I am not sure what to do with @: do I keep protected till frosts gone here? Plant and hope? Keep in greenhouse? Any ideas. Why did I not ask when i bought them? Well you can tell I am getting rather stupid!!

Hope you are still here ! Jean Vann

Nice to see you again.
Can you remember what kind of Hydrangea you bought? Some of the Mophead types are better grown as indoor ones until all danger of frost has passed and then they should be planted in sheltered spots. We cannot grow any of the macrophylla types here, the late frosts just kill off the new growth so we never get any flowers. However, the H. paniculata types do really well.
