Use Backup regularly

I am so glad I use the backup facilty every time I use BGP.

The other day I installed some Genealogy software and it took command of the Visual FoxPro Support Library so that BGP would not launch.

George came to the rescue though.   I had to use the backup to recover my data. Phew!

Good advice - that's for sure!

Ive never heard of anything like that before Colin.
I could have sent you some files to get you up and running, but since you had backups, the uninstall and reinstall was an easier option.
The Visual Foxpro Run time library files are actually on the Bank Genie distribution CD, so we could have copied from that. We had already established that your data files and Program files were intact.

Thanks for letting me know that you were up and running again :)
I hope you don't have to install that Genealogy software again ::)
