RGBE = Register by email
Its a kinda "secret" button, only to be used in emergencies, or special cases.
If a customer doesnt have an internet connection,  I can ask them to use this method.
It requires an exchange of emails, so the customer does need access to another computer with an internet conection.
Its only been used a couple of times.

If you are really curious, check the RGBE and start up the registration program. You'll see a new button, to be used to initiate the process.

RE: I'm an advanced user
This checkbox allows me to present the system in two modes.
By default, this setting is Un-checked when the system is installed by the user.
It is possible for me to use this check box setting to hide buttons which lead to features which require above average computer skills, or advanced features.
The idea is to make it a little easier for customers who download the software to get acquainted with the system.

There is only one hidden section at present.
Try this.

With I'm an advanced user un-checked
Start Flower Genie
Start FG037
Select a plant
Click on the Who sells this button
If there are no suppliers, you get the message:
No SEED or PLANT suppliers for this plant

Now close the program and start the preferences program FG198
Check I'm an advanced user
Save changes
Close the program

With I'm an advanced user checked
Start FG037
Select a plant
Click on the Who sells this button
If there are no suppliers, you get a different message:
Right click on this line to Add a Supplier

Right click on the line
You may be able to figure out how to add a supplier.

This allows suppliers to create their own Catalog, and the database can then be made into a Catalog on CD.

Thats how I produced the Catalog on CD for Jo Bogaerts, Timpany Nurseries,
Farmyard Nurseries, Chiltern Seeds etc.

I also developed a few shortcuts. Will post these tomorrow.

George has really helped me with some bugs which were peculiar to my PC. Now I need to know why all screens in FG are full screen with the 'allow auto resize' checked and only GA037 is full screen in IG Pro with the 'allow auto resize' checked. Gene

FG uses what is known in programming "speak" as a "class" to control the screen sizes.
I had to add this class (its called SIZER2 by a great Foxpro developer called Dale Doderoy) to every screen in FG.

Its a temporary solution. IG Pro has umpteen times as many screens, so I just did not have the time to do all those screens on a temporary basis. I decided to wait until the permanent solution could be appled. (read on)

I've used Visual Foxpro 7.0 to develop FG, IG and IG Pro and Bank Genie.
Version 9 is now available.
In the latest version, I can play with new properties which will give me full control of how screens will adjust, according to the screen resolution in use by the customer.
I hope to buy this latest version and to convert the systems over winter 2006-07

Now, Ive back tracked a little.
Ive been working on the Master Database in IG Pro, and was sadly missing the interface I had in Flower Genie.
So I developed GA037 - a mirror image and equivalent to FG037 in FG.
Its good for enjoying your good work at linking plants to photos, and theres a little slide show, all in the inital screen.
GA037 is the perfect tool for you to explore that resource.
It looked pathetic squeezed up into the corner, so I decided to add Dales "SIZER2" to it, as in FG.
However, I drew the line there!!!!
Its the only screen in IG Pro which uses the SIZER2 (at this point in time)
