Bank Genie 5 Testing
« on: July 25, 2014, 03:41:17 AM »
Hope that it's OK posting this query here !

I've tried on a number of occasions to open a database from outside the normal Bank Genie file area. The file will open OK but when I re-open the program it always reverts to the original database. My current setup with Bank Genie 4 uses a file in this way without any problem. Am I missing something or is there an error in one of the modules.

Hi Anthony
Yes, its the perfect place to post your question, and the explanation below may help others.

Under Setup tab, start the program Preferences.
Look for the checkbox Advanced User.
Check it, and Save your changes.

Now under File tab, use Open another database.
Select your database to open.
