Greetings
« on: August 11, 2015, 08:04:59 PM »
Hello. I'm new to this forum. I have found the software very user friendly and the support so far has been first class. Thank you George for giving me some tips and helpful advice when we spoke on the phone recently.
I'll dive in with a question about setting up multiple databases at some point, when I've found the appropriate place on the forum, but here will just say hello.
Ian :)

Hi Ian, and you are very welcome to the forum.
I'm delighted to read your encouraging comments!

I'll answer your question here about Multiple databases.
On the Main menu, click the File tab.
Then start the program Create a new database.
You can read more about that process here in the Bank Genie User Guide:
http://www.bankgenie.net/UserGuide/496/496.html

In there, you will create a new Data Location Record which will be memorised by Bank Genie.
Once you have created another database, use the program File tab> Open another Database.

You can read more about that process here in the Bank Genie User Guide:
http://www.bankgenie.net/UserGuide/426/426.html
In particular, read up on the option Make this my startup database
