Are they one and the same plant?

It is described as red/violet to purple violet George if you are any good at colours, I am not particularly (says Lyn)

I think the difference is possibly down to camera exposure/ white balance.

I think I have misled you. My question wasnt about the colours, it was about the plant name!
In actual fact, the link you gave me has answered the question - they are indeed the same plant.
The RHS list it as Clematis 'Warszawska Nike'

Theres absolutely no need to apologise, Malcolm.
Your colour definition will go into the appropriate field in the Master!
I think colour is very much in the eye of the beholder  As Ive remarked elsewhere on the forum, web sites seem to be a bit shy in stating the colour. They show the image and leave it up to the individual!
Unfortunately theres a field in the database which needs a description, so I have to stick my neck out some times.
My father was colour blind, and Julian (my eldest son) is colour blind - he cant tell the difference between red and green.
I'm not, mercifully, and my wife is very good with colours.
