Sounds Irish in origin to me
I grew something very like this from seed Nicola. It was years ago and I'm afraid they seem to have been taken by the Leprechauns
Now you have me thinking about it, perhaps that's what happens to a lot of my favourite plants around here - they don't touch the ones I wouldn't miss
