Merry Christmas everyone
« on: December 21, 2008, 11:43:03 AM »
Its my favourite time of year again, Tara (my daughter) has already arrived home for the festivities, and the presents are accumulating under the Christmas tree.
We will be at home on Christmas day, then Julian and Naomi (my son and his wife, James's mum and dad) have invited the family for a turkey dinner on what we over here call Boxing day (St Stephens day in other parts?). Simon and Keelin (my second son and his wife) will be with us on both days.

Everyone arrives "home" on Christmas day, for, guess what? - their Christmas stockings  ::) and a lovely get together of course, then the exchange of gifts, and the Christmas dinner  :)
"Santa" has been visiting our home since they were tiny tots, and now everyone gets a stocking! Fun  :)

Heres wishing all our members a very Happy Christmas.

The turkey is in the oven (smells LOVELY). I'm on utube playing my all time favourite Christmas time song - Only a Winter Tale, by David Essex.
Tara and Mary are getting ready to got to 9:00 pm "midnight" mass. When they return home, its wrapping presents time, then a glass of wine or a beer to relax and have a chat.

May all your Christmas wishes come true  ;)
Wishing you all a very happy and peaceful Christmas.

Hope you are enjoying Christmas, folk!
Here in Ireland, it was very mild on Christmas day, more like a very nice spring day!
In contrast, Ive had emails from Larry and Tina (members of this forum) from the Seattle area in WA, USA, to say had a heavy fall of snow just before Christmas and still coming down on Christmas eve.
Havent heard from Toby in a few days (hes in the same general area) Hope he's OK.
