Just realised that I hadnt posted my own website so here goes:
http://www.ideasforgardens.comTemporarily, its partly "broke" and quite a number of gardens are missing. Heres the story:
To begin with in 2001 ??, I used a free space host.
http://www.freewire.co.ukThey gave me great service, and unlike other free space they didn't bombard the visitor with a barrage of ads.
Then I bought my own web space, so I could use my own domain name.
I continued to use Freewire, to host my photos, with a link from my home page on the ideasforgardens site..
The only requirement with freewire was that I had to log in once per month, to at least pick up email, to let them know that the account was active, but it had to be done on a dial-up connection.
All went well until I got broadband. I had to disconnect from broadband and wire up the dial up connection.
Needless to say, it was a chore and with the level of development going on, I missed that a few times.
They would pull the plug. I would give them a call and they would re-activate the account, and put me back on line.
I think they fianlly lost patience and didnt re-activate on my last phone call.
So, Ive decided its time to put it all on my own server.
Its a review of what was on Freewire, and an re-upload to my own server.
I didnt need that right now, but I will get to it!
