Toby was looking for labels for marking his vegetables, and he found this interesting label stock.
Its for an ink-jet printer.
4 cols x 20 rows giving 80 labels.
The ultimate challenge as far as labels per sheet goes. I hope thats as big as it gets
The labels measure 1/2" x 1-3/4" and are peel off with adhesive backing.
Perfect for plastic plant pins.
During development and testing, we tried a number of options.
We opted for plain text (not Rich Text)
I don't have any of the label stock in the UK, so Toby had to do the testing
In the first attempt, the Boss reckoned that 3 lines of text was too cramped, so we settled on 2.
I had made the template with text left justified.
Toby said he'd like to see what it looked like when centred, so I sent that design.
Thats where the new feature was hatched.
In the latest version (see downloads above) when you get to the screen GA048S02, you'll find a new pop-up.
Currently, its only visible when you select the #8667 label
The pop-up lists 4 print options:
Left justified text - 8pt
Centred text - 8pt
Centred text - 10pt
Centred text - 8pt-Bold
In the UK, you'll be able to test it by doing a Print Preview.
You could try printing it on A4, but the fourth column will be truncated.
Toby assures me it is fine on US sized paper as per design.
