The day my world turned on it's head!
« on: May 10, 2010, 10:20:58 PM »
I foolishly rested a file on my main computer keyboard and suddenly everything on my screen inverted, including my desktop. What was even more confusing my mouse worked back to front and went the opposite direction to what I expected. I shut down and rebooted and it was just the same. What to do ??? ? I sent a private email to George. Subject ......."HELP!!!"

Of course George came back straight away with this: -

"Try this Eric (described for XP):
Right click on a blank area of the desktop
Click Graphics options
Click Rotation
You have options Normal , 90, 180 and 270
Pick Normal
Does that help?"

Of course it did help. It immediately did the trick although working upside down with the mouse doing the opposite of what I expected took a little bit more concentration.  ::)

Thanks George!!!! :)

I post this so others can learn from my experience.

Someting I have done myself and then spent ages trying to put it right.
I will keep this on file to remind me next time.

I used the feature in its proper manner when using a wide screen monitor.
The monitor was orientated to give a "portrait" aspect ration, like reading a sheet of paper.

(Thats why I introduced the Use MY screen size feature in IG Pro - see preferences.
It didn't look to good before that!)

My grandson did it for me some time ago ::)  so I knew how to deal with it.
Its amazing how easy it can happen. I can imagine how you felt Eric!
I'm pleased I was able to help :)
