Just reading Eric's 'inverted screen' post, and his reason for posting, I too did something that perhaps might be worth mentioning as something to be wary of (though I suspect not many would be as daft as me in making the mistake!). I discovered an extra 50gigabyte or so on a hard drive and, thinking that would be a useful amount of space to keep my 'pics' on, transfered them all to that space which I'd  partitioned. Some time later, when I turned on IGPRO of course the mistake hit me. Where had my plant photo's gone?! It took quite a while re-linking them. Maybe there's a quicker way than re-linking individual images and plants but I don't know of it if there is.

Theres a VERY easy way of re-linking them Trevor.
So I can describe by example, what are the drive letters on your original and new (partition) drive?

First comment:
If you create the same folder structure on the partition as on the original location then the photos will be found automatically in most programs (e.g GA027, GA037, GA004 etc).
Its different in the photo linking programs e.g. GA030, but I'll describe that when you reply with drive letters.

They are 'C:' and 'I:'

Yes thats fine Trevor

Use GA030
Click Find folders with Photos tab
Right click on the Folder name in the list, so it becomes highlighted
Click the Work with selected path button
Screen GA100S62 appears
If data structure is exactly the same on I: drive, simply change C: to I: 

If NOT the same structure:
Click the Get a path button
Find the folder on the I: drive and save changes

Both the above will repoint ALL the links Plants to Photos to the new location in one simple click

I just knew that there would be an easy way - should have enquired before I did it 'long-hand'. Well, at least if anyone else makes the same mistake the solution is there.
