Not the easiest of gardens to get pictures from, but well worth the visit.

It was a beautiful day Eric, and it was really nice to have met up at the Plant Hunters Fair.

On your tour of the gardens you have captured a few things I didnt explore.
I didnt go down to the bottom of the waterfall in the Quarry garden. I'm sorry I didnt now- judging by your photo it is a spectacular sight, and youve captured it nicely. We looked into the quarry from the top end and continued our walk.

I have only just discovered your posting on the Dorothy Clive Garden, Eric. It looks well worth a visit. Unfortunately Stoke is a part of the country we never get to so we will have to visit second hand through your pictures. It looks the sort of garden we would like. The planting round the waterfall looks very lush.

It is no that close to Stoke, more near Nantwich. Actually it is only a few miles from the M6, Eccleshall is what the signpost says. We probably will not go again for a while, unless entry is free again!
