Spent On field
« on: September 15, 2012, 05:26:45 PM »
With a number of transactions I don't want to use the "Spent on" field. Is there anyway to set the "Spent On" field to default to spaces rather than "Un-defined"?

Thanks

Anthony

Not at present Anthony.
Heres a couple of tips.
1)
In screen BS421S11, use the Tab button on your keyboard and tab into the Transaction Details field.
It will go blue.
Click the Delete button on your keyboard. The text will clear.

2)
In BS421S01, check the Easy Add checkbox.
Click Add debits or Add Credits.
The Easy Add Screen BS421S02 appears.
In that screen, the Transaction Details (= Spent on) field is blank by default.

Does that help,or shall I a) add a Clear button in BS421S11 or b) Allow the user to set a value (or blank) for that field in Preferences?

Thanks for the information. I would find it really useful to have an option in the preferences to "blank" or set a value for the "Spent-on" field.

Thanks

There is a Clear option and Default Text for Spent On option in Online Banking Transaction-BS423 Anthony.

The setting lasts for one import.
