If you are an
Ideas Genie - Software for Plant Lovers user, you'll be aware that I haven't made any significant changes to that system since fall 2003.
It was very stable so why change?
Some things did need further development, and it took me much longer than expected to complete that next upgrade. Rather than upset the reliable Ideas Genie apple cart, I decided (May 06) to release the new upgrade as Ideas Genie Pro (IG Pro), and continue to offer the stable Ideas Genie as an alternative (and less expensive) product.
IG Pro had all the Ideas Genie programs, plus extra programs. Since initial release, IG Pro has gone through a couple of upgrades (see links to endless documentation !!)
The release of Windows Vista by Microsoft has forced me to review Ideas Genie.
All the development work done to IG Pro is now applied to Ideas Genie. The programs are exactly the same, and coming from your 2003 version of IG, you will find many exciting new features, all designed to make the software easier and quicker to use.
Its also bang up to date with latest technology.
Ive now written up the documentation to explain the new things in this version, and to officially announce the upgrade.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You can upgrade to either:Ideas Genie - Software for Plant Lovers (Ideas Genie 5)

Ideas Genie Pro - Software for Plant and Gardens (Ideas Genie Pro 5)
