Highlight a transaction

I always like to enter transactions 2 -3 months ahead and i add any extra important ones aswell, this way i know money outlook in advance so i can budget for extras etc, such as digger hire, buy xmas tree transplants, is is possible to be able to make a change where you can select an entry and highlight it with a colour for ease of finding

Afraid not on the colours, Phil.
Could you do this by using Tags?
Once transactions are tagged, they can be isolated in the Transaction Analyser program.

PS: I fully agree with your processing ahead with Standing Orders, known expenditure and income - that's the best way to do things with Bank Genie to do your forecasts

not a problem, im msmoney you can flag a transaction and it puts a little flag symbol by it, i will have to try tags

Here's another (and perhaps better) answer to your question Phil.
Use the Search button in Manage Transactions- BS421S01.
The Search in pop-up gives you different search options.

In Transaction Analyser, right click on any transaction and click Search.

Once found in a search, you can select and edit any transaction in the search results listing.
