Three Billy Goats Gruff
« on: June 20, 2013, 12:11:03 PM »
Just to prove I am not just about flowers. Though I will confess that my woodworking skills would have to improve to be classed as 'remedial.
I put this together yesterday to replace the old one which collapsed after 18 years sterling service.

Nice bit of carpentry there.

Looks like it could last another 18 years.

And here it is over the dried up Stream bed. Struggled as the Conifer has grown since the old bridge collapsed.

You are too modest about your woodworking skills, Eric, it looks great. I like the colour too.

Ah, but it looks good, the carpentry, because I did not have to actually saw any of the wood, the thing was made from pieces already the length I needed.  For the life of me I cannot saw straight, even with a saw guide

Its a lovely feature Eric - one for inclusion in my http://www.ideasforgardens.com website.
Some fine day (ooops - make that some bad wet day) I will HAVE to get some time to work some more on that website. Its a bit like my garden - rather neglected at times.

More of the same please folk! It will inspire us all to develop our own DIY skills ;D
