They are absolutely beautiful.

I never see grass among the flowers in your photos. Do you not have that problem?
I reckon I have the best national collection of grass in the UK. There must be every variety of the stuff in this garden.
Problem is - it appears prolifically in my flower beds.
The very very fine stuff is the worst. Once it gets into a small shrub or perennial its dig the plant up and salvage what you can once again time.
One season of neglect and this place would be back to nature  - like a hay field.
I'm just in from getting rid of this years crop of Briza! Its spreading

Don't you believe it. We spend hours trying to remove grass from in plant clumps. Even have had to dig some things out and grow them in pots and repot a few times to get rid of Couch grass roots. There is a tiny grass which is the same colour as the gravel mulch. We spend hours and hours removing that. We also have a creeping Fescue which goes from the grass path into the border and is a swine to remove.
