From the "ideas" team, we wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and our very best wishes for the New Year.

Its my favourite time of year. Fortunately the weather here is not as bitter as last week. Hopefully it will stay like this over the festive period. I'm not dreaming of a White Christmas ;D

Its been VERY quiet on the forum but I can assure you that will change in the New Year.
Announcements due soon - upgrades to all our software to be unveiled, including that VERY long awaited release of Bank Genie Pro 6 with Investments.

Merry Christmas!

Thank you for visiting and for your goodwill messages folk. It was nice to see so many logging in.

I hope you are all enjoying the festivities. I may have to put in few extra sessions at the gym in the New Year ;D

Peace on earth and goodwill to all men.
A small sentence for man, but what a giant step that will make for mankind.

And from me too.
One piece of news. We have sold our house and are hoping to move to a bungalow with a much smaller garden in the new year.

That's good news Eric. That was quick!

Very best wishes for the future. I'm pleased you have a garden with your new house.

Happy New Year everybody. I am so sorry that I don't look in these days but I thought I would look in now and say hello. I have turned 91 this year but am still tapping along.

Here is a seasonal shot of a blackbird taken out of my dressing room window at Christmas

I'm very pleased to hear from you again Eric and congratulations on your 81st recently. I should have remembered about that ::)

How is Anthea?

That is an excellent photo of that Blackbird. Thank you for posting! Looks like a Cotoneaster berry it has decided looks tasty.
Here, the Blackbirds seem to reserve those berries for Christmas.

Happy New Year everyone :)

Thanks George. I am afraid that was ninety-one not eighty-one. Anthea remains much the same thank you, the aches and pains still stay with her but otherwise she is fine. I hope Mary's ankle troubles her less than it did and that awful operation she had on it eventually did the trick.

RE: 91: My apologies Eric (I knew that!! ::). Its good to hear that you and Anthea are well.
Thank you for enquiring about Marys ankle.
Yes, the ankle fusion op was very successful.
She has been pain free for months now, but it flared up a little just before Christmas - understandable, I guess, as she had been "enjoying" the shopping. It is now back to normal. We are eternally grateful to the surgeon and the hospital staff aftercare.
Its seven years this week since that fall which resulted in a badly broken ankle.

I aam gobsmacked that Mary's accident was seven years ago.... how time passes. Glad she is now pain free; it has been a long haul.

Happy New Year to her too.
