Hello George
Hope you are well. For the moment I'm pruning & propagating some of my roses.
What are in general the differences between Cult/properties & Plant care & Cultivation (screen GA100S36) ? When to use one of the 3? What is the reason of finding them apart?

Greets,

Hi Robert

They are both features of Global Editing in Ideas Genie Pro 6

The difference is that Plant Care are things you do in a certain month.
e.g. What month do you Prune trees and what month do you Propagate plants.
What month do you sow seed, plant things. When to fertilise your plants etc.

Properties and Culture:
Examples are the the Height bands of a plant, plant hardiness, soil requirements etc which are not related to a month.
I have included a few examples in the database where periods in the year are applicable.
Examples are Flowering time (Early spring, late summer, autumn) .

Use program Plants and Gardens GA604. Click on the name of a plant.
The Toolbar GA100S70 appears.
Under Global click Care or Properties/Culture.
The things you define in those screens then show up in the screen GA100S36 (Edit Plant Profile).

Heres a document to explain Plant Culture/Property Classifications.
