Strange snow
« on: October 30, 2008, 10:30:56 AM »
We had a sprinkling last night, though the hills are well covered near to us, however the snow  on my car windscreen was................green. Now I have seen yellow snow when we lived in a town producing sulphuric acid and red when the sand in it had come from the Sahara desert, but GREEN.

Eric, do you use screen-wash that has an anti-freeze solution added to it, and if so, had you recently washed your windscreen with it?

Just a hypothesis  :-\

Laurie.

P.S. Other than that, the leprechauns may have been at work.  It is approaching Halloween.  ;)

Not used an antifreeze one since last winter, but ordinary screen wash could do it I think. Sadly the picture I took did not really show the colour.
