We dont have many shrubs in our garden, and the ones we do, have have to be grown like a standard. Why you may say? so the ground underneath can be used to grow other plants, how else do you think we can get so many plants into our small garden.
The Pieris forrestii is flowering now and starting to grow the red new leaves which eventually turn green. The new shoots are prone to the frost catching them.
