Thanks to Eric H, and the link I found to Sissinghurst, I found a link from that site to another amazing set of photos by Dave Parker (you know how these links can take you all over the place!)
http://www.invectis.co.uk/leonardslee/index.htmLeonardslee gardens is in Horsham.
This garden came up frequently in my latest massive exercise in converting the Sherwood Gardens database.
http://www.ideasforgardens.net/Sherwood/Azaleas/Sherwood Gardens has three National Collections of plants, one being the Knaphill Azaleas.
You wont delve into Rhodos too far before the name Loder comes up!
The Loder family have ran Leonardslee gardens for the last 100 years!
Many beautiful plants from there have been introduced to the gardening world. In our Master Database of plants, I isolated 26 plants in the Genus rhododendron with "Loderi" in the plant name.
Heres the link to the official site for Leonardslee gardens
http://www.leonardslee.com/In 1901 Sir Edmund Loder planted the first Loderi seedlings in the Loderi Garden. In 1907 the first Loderi produced its first flower. These original seedlings have now grown into trees, so the birds and squirrels get the best view. The varieties growing here are 'Pink Diamond', 'White Diamond', 'Sir Joseph Hooker', 'Pink Coral' and 'King George'. All are highly fragrant with enormous flowers.
OK. Whos been there?
