Have you ever heard of this plant?

A friend sent me an email and I did some research.

From that site we learn:
The parrot flower is a rare impatiens from Northern Thailand, Burma and portions of eastern India known to science as Impatiens psittacina.
It is extremely rare in nature and it is illegal to collect, possess or sell in Thailand
