Some of this group of Primulas. They need indoor growing in a way, not because they are tender, but they dislike getting water on the leaves in winter.

I have others and a lot of pictures from Shows too. Enjoy these and then pray the Botrytis keeps away!

I simply love all Primulas.

Those plants are simply beautiful, Eric and the photography is quality!

Ive tried to grow Primula allionii before, but from what you have revealed in your posting, mine didnt stand a chance planted outdoors in wet ol' Ireland.

I hope to get back to processing (for the Master Database) all that bunch of photos you (and Malcolm) sent me last time :)

There is a grower in Ireland who has a huge collection of them, Timpany Nurseries.
Did you manage to lift the images from the DVD then?

Yes, Timpany is only 10 miles from my home, and I have been there quite a few times.

I made up a catalog for them a few years ago, using the plants list on their website, but they seemed disinterested :'(

Havent had time to do any work with images for some time Eric. I'm very much looking forward to getting back to that enjoyable pastime, and I'll be in touch. Meanwhile, please keep taking those precious photos!
