Rich text
« on: November 16, 2010, 10:58:55 AM »
The rich text addition to GA048 is a definite plus George. I've not made any use of that particular program but my mouth was watering at the prospect of rich text being added to any other parts of the program (globally?). Is this an intention George - to spread it throughout in any degree? Even just 'bold' and 'italic' options would be great.

First comment: I don't now of any way of selectively allowing italics or bold for words and sentences within IG Pro without using Rich-text.

Rich text requires a lot more "manipulation" by the user.
If you have tried using GA048 to design and print labels then you will see that it takes a little time and patience to prepare each label.
I know it looks simple, but in programming terms its insanely different in providing the feature to allow text input, and even more so when it comes to printing.
No plans to move that feature outside of the labels program at present Trevor.  :(
