That reminds me Toby - We were entertained yesterday by a squirrel in what we call our bird tree - at the south side of our house, opposite our dinette window. We have three bird feeders (for nuts) hanging on a branch so we can keep a watchful eye over the many events that happen there (mostly cats!). Its a Rowan tree and Ive just allowed it to grow au natural - and that means it has many little branches which the small birds love flitting about through, and it offers protection from a hawk which used to make regular visits.
The squirrel was so agile, climbing up all the branches at breathtaking speed and getting to the hanging nut feeder was no big deal :D
No pumpkin on offer here though ;D

Which came first?

The chicken (the bird) or the egg?

Huh, Dad?

Ho ho ;D :D

Toby, I was browsing back through this board and found one which I didn't reply to, and definitely should have :D

George has indicated that he is now working on updates to his gardening software IdeasGenie Pro 5.
I thought he might enjoy this comic as published recently in the Seattle Times Newspaper (USA).

I did. In fact I'm writing up the instructions for Bank Genie right now - quite a coincidence!
Problem is - who reads them ::)
No software developer that I know of likes the User Guide editorial work - definitely boring stuff ::)
Besides, most software is so intuitive that User Guides are unnecessary  ;D ;D so why bother  :D

I have heard of wrapping trees in bird netting, but plastic wrap for eternal life?
Will that work for human beings, too?

Do you want me to post more than one of them a day?
Can do so, if you wish?
