yes a happy new year to all, we had a nice xmas in the uk at daughters a bit of role reversal, daughter cooks parents wash up, then later on we were out and i got a text from daughter what time are you coming home

You obviously taught your daughter well there Phil, taking her responsibilities seriously and looking out for your welfare.  Doesn't it just make you feel proud

A quiet relaxing night in here and a flurry of activity on phones, iPhones, Skype etc as we welcomed the new year in.

Thanks Laurie, and a VERY belated Happy New Year from Anthea and me. Just recovering from a very active family Christmas with four generations of us here ranging from 8 months (younger great grandson Damon) and 86 (me). So much was going on at once that I dont know who was more bewildered, Damon or me
