An award for Northwards Housing
« on: January 18, 2013, 03:53:55 PM »
Wednesday night was a champagne reception to launch the Stonewall 2013 Index ( the top 100 employers were invited to attend) and they presented individual awards. It took place on 23rd floor of the Aviva building, close to the Gherkin (Google for info - an impressive place).

Our darling daughter (Tara) was invited in recognition for her good work in gaining an award for her employer, Northwards Housing, Manchester, England.
Tara is employed as their Equality and Diversity officer.

Tara gets a mention in this article:

This is a link to Stonewall's official list

Nice to be mentioned among those famous companies.

My favourite photo of our little achiever!

Taken on one of my gardening photoshoot trips - in Bob Brooks's garden, Belfast.

Excellent George.

Congratulations to Tara, whom I'm certain has now made you a very proud father  8)

Thank you Laurie. Yes, Mum and Dad are very proud of her.
She is a very modest and deserving little star 8)

Ive sent Tara a link to this forum topic.  She has just arrived in Glasgow (by train) - up visiting her friends for the weekend.
I imagine there may be some celebrations ::)
