The "thorns" are a bit scary on the ones (the few) we've had, but if you can manage to get them to flower they are simply beautiful.
I think I posted a message on the forum years (
) to tell the story of one that had fell under the greenhouse staging and was (obviously) completely uncared for. I noticed the flower and rescued this dried up little plant.
The colours were vibrant and absolutely stunning.
I say rescued, but once I brought it up to the top of the staging and started to "care" for it, I killed it
