A great set of photos from Susan, with well thought out composition.

I look forward to her posting on the Forum and seeing more of her wonderful photos.

I've never visited Alnwick Gardens but it looks like a beautiful place.

An excellent set of photographs, Susan. It is good to see some modern sculpture looking so good in a contemporary garden. Thank you and also George for bringing it to our attention. It is a garden I hadn't heard of

Modern sculpture (and architecture) certainly does generate discussion Eric:)
Its refreshing to see that you (being a retired architect) show appreciation!

Susan has now registered on the forum.
As we all know, it takes a little time to find your way around at first so good luck Susan. If you need help, please email or phone and I will help.

Incidentally, that photo set illustrates another feature of WPG2.
Note how the description for each photo has a link to Alnwick.
In Ideas Genie Pro (IG Pro) you can set up the text for the link, the URL and click an option to insert the link at the beginning (or end as in this case) of each photos description.

Dates - Date taken and Date modified:
When you add a photo to a project (each set of photos is a project) IG Pro looks at the EXIF data of the file and extracts the Date Taken.
Inserting Date Taken is an option when generating the web pages.
In this case, I have taken the option to show the dates (as seen in the description for each photo).
I'm not sure (yet) how reliable that is. I notice that some photos show a Date taken as 6th June whil some show the date taken as 20th June. Perhaps Susan can comment on that.
Note: If the EXIF cannot be read, the program uses another technique and finds the last date modified.

I don't know why the dates don't correlate, perhaps it has something to do with photos being edited on photoshop?

Welcome to the forum, Susie.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of those photos you've been taking on your travels  :)

Were the photos all taken on the same date?
