Bought this photograph  on Friday. Aeroplane view of the garden.
If you take a line through the centre of the house at the bottom  straight up to the  right hand white roof at the top of the image, our garden is the area to the right of that line.

That is  huge garden to maintain. I'm in awe when I see your detailed photos how well you manage that.

I hope it doesn't revert to nature Eric. Mine would inside one year.
Grass in flower beds is my biggest enemy and in mild winters it grows all over winter and early spring when all herbaceous perennials are resting.
It makes for a big job in spring every year.

My afternoon gardening session was interrupted by a hailstorm today!

Great to have an aerial view of your house and garden, Eric. I have had people call with views of our house and garden for sale and I have always resisted. Seeing yours makes me wish that I had given in and bought one. As George says, you have a lot to maintain.

It seems a bit much at the time, but its well worth the money to have that photo for posterity.
I have 2 (possibly 3) aerial photos of our garden.

Amazingly, Jordan was in one, but I didn't appear in the photos each time, yet Ive seen the plane taking the photos on occasion.
Perhaps they do a little work with photoshop and remove anything unsightly

The last one was during a period when we were having an extension and garage built at the back of the house.
The "contents"  of the old garage had to be stored outside at the top of the garden.
The place was like a tip! Mary said no, but I overruled (and got away with it ).
We have a giggle everytime we look at it.

You can get a reasonable view from Google Earth, but for us the image is 8 years at least out of date.
