Migrating from Quicken
« on: August 13, 2015, 01:04:19 PM »
Hi all, have decided that Intuit is not going to produce a new version for the UK (only took me 12 years to come to that conclusion) so am at present migrating nearly 20 years of accounts to Bank Genie. Thanks due to George for sorting out a small issue with regular transfers.
A small point I can see that you can split regular transactions over several categories but can't see how to do it for standing orders so at present am setting them up as separate transactions but would be good if I could split my pay check into separate categories as per Quicken so Tax, Pension, NI could be automatically allocated.
Keep up the good work.

Tony

Hi Tony

Have a read over this topic:

Its a workaround for Bank Genie 4 users.
Does that help?

Bank Genie Pro 5 (being used live by a small number of users) already has the ability to set up split type Standing Orders, which is ideal for pay check details.
