You can add new check boxes
You can delete check boxes
You can rename check boxes (e.g. into another language)
You can add new Groups
You can delete Groups
You can rename Groups (e.g. into another language)
You can re-arrange the check-boxes under your Groups
You can right click on every check box, and add notes. Hyperlinks (links to web sites) added in the text region are active.
When you hover over a check box which has notes, the underlying data is displayed in a small window.

You can have an unlimited number of Groups and Check-boxes (You can scroll the checkboxes up and down in groups.)
Restriction:- At any one time, only 3 groups are displayed (as in Version 1)
However, you can rearrange the groups in your favourite display order.

More information:
Examples of things you might want to add:
A group called Awards.
You could regroup AGM (Award of Garden Merit - RHS) and AAS (All America Selection) under this, and add additional check-boxes for awards in your country or region
A group called Nature.
You could add check-boxes for Attracts Bees, Hummingbirds, etc in that group.

Extension of the use of check-boxes.
Because the Check-boxes can have associated plant date, they are not restricted to Yes/No.
Da-daaaa - they can be used as additional Data Fields!!!!
I have to confess, I didnt think of this until I had the changes developed - that happens a lot in developing garden software!
Thus, you could add a group called Plant Info, and in that have a check boxes called Propagation
Once you have ticked the Propagation check-box, right click - and copy and paste, with the URL if you wish, or type up your notes about how to propagate that plant.
In this case, a tick in this Check-box signifies that there is underlying data.

Conversely, you could have a GROUP caled Propagation, and in that have Check boxes to record the progress of growing actual plants.
e.g. Sow Date (right click and enter the Date), Germination, Sp

Actually, you can have both - Propagation as a check-box within a group, and Propagation AS a group.!

As you can see, this change makes FG very flexible.

I could give more examples, but instead, I'm going to turn it over to the fertile minds in this forum - what new check boxes woud you add?
Please reply as I'd like to know, and see how they would fit in, for flowers, vegetables - whatever.
