St Patricks Day
« on: March 17, 2007, 10:58:14 PM »
...and sober as a judge!!
I'm a bad example of an Irishman, I'm afraid. Its hard to live up to reputations some times.

Anyway, theres probably a lot of my countrymen makin' up for it - drowning the shamrock, and drowning their sorrows at losing the Six Nations by a whisker.

My son and daughter (home for the weekend from Manchester, England) were at the St Patricks day parade in Belfast - followed by a few "refreshments" in a local establishment, being entertained by Irish groups and impromptu music "sessions".
They visit Mummy and Daddy tomorrow - probably afternoon!

To anyone celebrating - happy St Patricks day.

Ive worked hard today. I'm going to crack open a tin...

Ah yes  ;)
Now you've reminded me, I'll polish the shoes again.
Nothing to beat a good dance on a night out.
