Updating your WPG web projects

Tina has asked the question:

If I change any of the photos or add plants does it automatically show up on my website?

Yes it does, after you FTP the changes to the web server.

However!
Since disc space on a server is limited (and has to be paid for) it is important to do your "housekeeping".

You dont have to worry about the HTML pages, but you do need to manage your jpg files.

If you change a photo, the old photo becomes redundant.
This should be removed from:
a) The folder on your own computer (so you dont keep sending them to the Web Server when you FTP your web pages to the server)

and
b) The folder on the web server.
Simply open up your FTP connection, locate redundant files, and delete them.

Remember - working on the web server is just like using Windows Explorer, or My Computer on you local computer.
You navigate through folder structures and locate files, and delete files with the same techniques as on your own (local) computer.
