Ive upgraded the forum this week, and some of the settings were changed.
I'd like to make sure everyone can login and post messages.

Please reply to the very last posting in the thread and let me know if there are any problems.
Have a nice weekend folk!

And posting of course.
After the upgrade. I found that some groups of people couldnt post and some couldnt attach photos.
The groups are based on number of posting.
I hope others will confirm that things are OK

Hi there! I had a small problem with my password but that appears to be corrected by resetting it.

Stan  :)

Thats great Ina and Stan.
Good to hear from you both again.

Another thing to look out for folk:
Whenever you are editing your message, you should see an Additional Options caption, bottom left of the edit window.
If you click on that, you should see options. The important ones are like:
Notify me of replies
An Attach field
A Browse button
Ive set it up so that everone can post photos using the Attach feature.
If you dont see those options let me know.

Good to hear from you again Philip  :)
Its been quite a while. No doubt you have had your hands full building youir new house and landscaping that new garden. How is it all going?
I'm sure you had the same weather as us today up North of our fair country. It was like a summer day here - in fact it was much better than most of the summer days we have had this year! Garden is enjoying the favourable weather.

still waiting on planners for decision its a different excuse everytime for further information with them, latest is design of front windows we have had to go for 2 smaller windows in each front room instead of one larger window, weathers been great today, still toying with fg, as we plan to grow xmass trees i intend to figure out someway of useing fg to keep track of jobs to do with trees at certain times, plantings etc,

That must be very frustrating Phil. When you've got a nice garden to look out at (well, soon!) it would be much better to look out through one big window and see a wide vista.
Good luck on that one!

As for keeping track of jobs to do with trees, FG doesnt have a Tasks program for that purpose (IG and IG Pro do)
But, heres a suggestion - crude, but it would work in FG.
Create another garden called Things to do
In it, Create 12 garden areas called Jan, Feb, Mar etc.

Use FG038 to put your plants into the Month they require attention.
You can add the same plant to one or many months (or as many gardens as you like, of course).
Then ypou can put notes about what to do in the Plant Details field.
Would that work for you?

No problem logging in.  I do have access to the "Additional Options" feature.

Have purchased a greenhouse and seed cart since last contact.  So lots to do and learn while the weather is bad this winter.

Still adding plants and building gardens.  Fall weather has turned nasty in the last week, so looks like winter will be a few weeks early this year.

Best regards to all.

Good to hear from you Larry. Since you can post and get to Additional Options, things are good.

You will enjoy that greenhouse! I couldnt do without mine. Its usually the first stop on the way out to each session in the garden, and of course its the place to be when the weather is "inclement".

What exactly is a seed cart? From a quick surf, I fnd this:
http://www.travismfg.com/products/bulk_seed_cart.htm

Hope that weather stays away from the UK for a while yet! My son returned from his Canadian honeymoon a couple of weeks ago, and they had their first snow while he was visiting his cousin in Calgary. Mind you, he says the weather was beautiful in Kamloops (his uncles home). Vancouver Island was mild but they had some rain - a bit like home in Ireland!

Hey!! Good to hear from you Brad  :) You have a bit of catching up to do around the boards!
How was your gardening in Virginia this year? I hope you had better weather that the UK and Ireland and quite a lot of mainland Europe. It was a terrible summer on this side of the Atlantic.
