Keukenhof here I come!

Hi all.  Have just booked a trip to the amazing Keukenhof Gardens (http://www.keukenhof.nl/nm/english.htmlat) Lisse, Holland on 26th April.  More terrific pictures to follow.
I arranged the trip to take my 86 year old father who will love the spectacle.
Will drive up to a hotel in The Hague on Friday 25th, go to gardens on Saturday 26th before driving back on Satuday night.
Will post the photos as soon as possible.
By the way, the cost of 2 single rooms, eurotunnel (with insurance) and Keukenhof entry and parking comes to £230. Just food and fuel to add. Quite reasonable really for 2 people.
My Picasso is diesel and does about 43 MPG.  It will take me about 2 hours from Brighton to the tunnel and then 4 hours from Calais to the hotel, so will be very tired on Sunday.

Thats a great gesture to your father, Tony. I hope you both enjoy your trip.

I take it that your father is a gardener?
I suspect you may also have inherited a few gardening genes There aren't many Bank Genie customers who cross the divide to the world of gardening 
I can see how it will be of interest when those genes begin to dominate.   
When it comes to your hobby (photography) it would be difficult to find a better subject than beautiful flowers.
