What is this wild flower?

Just wondering if you can help my wife and I to identify the following wild flower which I photographed today on the south downs near my home.

Ive attached the photo so all can have a look and perhaps help identify this plant.

Is there a white and a pink variety of Silene uniflora Paul? Heres a white variety:

No, most defiantly white, the pink is Silene dioica - Red Campion, my mistakte,sorry looking again that is what this plant is, given the flower colour and location.

Well, it gave us all a chance to dio a bit of surfin' and learn about that lovely Genus, Paul.
