My general impression?
Excellent!
It was all its hyped up about and more.
Personally, I preferred the stands in the Great Pavilion (indoors), rather than the display gardens (difficult to negotiate the crowds, three deep at each stand - fortunately I'm quite tall
).
The beauty of the flowers in the Great Pavilion are impossible to convey in photos or on TV! Its breathtaking.
First sight walking in was a wall of Orchids, then a wall of Fuchsais, a wall of Anthuriums, then Chrysanthemums, Sweet Pea, Clematis etc etc.
The stands by the Nurseries were a real treat, and it wasnt too busy in there. I made contact with a number of the owners.
I was in awe at a stand packed with Japanese Maples.

http://www.norfields.co.uk/the_plants.php?view=Grafted%20maplesI spoke to the owner of the Japanese maple stand, and took the opportunity to introduce IG Pro. I had a number of copies in my carrier bag, of course.
I had a good chat with Mike Smith at the Federation of British Bonsai Societies stand.

Mike was very interested in Bonsai Genie, and we hope to work together to make it work to his requirements. Should be interesting.
