YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!  :o :o :o

I don't believe it either.  Get a photo George - quick, before it melts.

Laurie.

P.S. Apart from an overnight frost here in northeast England, it's been a 'fresh' morning and the sun is shining, with very little wind.

I'm at my day job without my "kit" so no pics.
Its sunny and bright here at time of posting, but the snow is still on the peak and north facing slopes of the Belfast hills.
My wife tells me there was a nice covering at Dromore (my home town)

That is a bad omen.

A sure sign of a long cold winter when it snows that early.  :(

Laurie.

P.S. No kit with you, I'm shocked.  :o  A good photographer is always prepared to capture that fleeting moment for posterity.  ;D

Rained most of the day and snowed for perhpas ten minutes mid afternoon, nothing stuck though. Very cold, we have the fire lit, first time in the afternoon. The woodman came today. £70 for a load of logws, that is if he had any. The land is too wet to get on to do any tree felling and everybody wants wood. Getting to the stage of being no cheaper than oil. Worst comes to the worst, it is goodbye Ash tree!

Ive been quoted £480 to have my Ash tree felled. Perhaps that will explain the cost of logs!
Mind you, the person who cuts has a double whammy - the money paid to them for cutting, and the money made for kindly removing the sawn tree - selling logs !

If it is your tree then keep the logs!  ;D
