Not sure how far away you are George or any members in Ireland.

Bob Brown of Cotswold Garden Flowers is holding a sale in April.

We traveled up to his nursery in the Cotswolds last yea,r and came back with a car full of plants, more than we went up for  :o

Thanks for the info, and the link, Malcolm.

Its about 80 miles to Dublin from here. I worked there for 3 years in my Engineering days (thats where I started learing software and later it became a career change for me. Mechanical Engineering (my degree) is virtually nonexistent here nowadays, and I'd have been put of work a long time ago without that switch.
I love the place, but I haven't been down for a long time now. (except passing through on the way to catch the ferry or a flight on very rare occasions.)

Do you know Bob personally? Looks like you are one of his best customers!
I'm impressed by his encyclopaedia. Gosh - did he do all that himself?

No not personally, but he has been to the local HPSoc to give talks which we attended. A very good speaker he is too, very down to earth.

When we left his nursery the car looked like a mobile greenhouse, but I am sure others have spent more, we can't............no room in the garden  :(
